Although there will be only ONE workshop, we have set aside three Sundays to ensure we see the crocuses in bloom. When the first crocus is spotted by our guide at Busted Boot, we will call you to confirm the actual date and your attendance.
The prairie crocus, or anemone patens (Pulsatilla ludoviciana) is also known as the pasque-flower, the windflower, or the gosling plant because of its furry petals.
It was officially adopted as Manitoba’s Official Flower in 1906.
