This year’s quilt challenge was to use the block called “delectable/majestic mountains”.  We were further challenged to use only fabric that we could find in our stash.

We found the fabric in our stashes; mastered cutting and sewing the pieces together for the blocks. The final part of the challenge was the arrangement of the blocks.  We consulted books and websites, and used our imagination to find a design that was both pleasing and unique. 

Quilters were invited to bring other quilts or projects they have finished during the year.  The fabric for most of the quilts on display came mainly from our stash with a few complementary pieces purchased to finish them.   

We love our quilting and the socializing that come with sewing and working together.
