A Hint of Spring, Fibre Art, 11.5”x17”, 2021 by Yvonne Carlson
March means longer days and hints of spring. It does not mean the threat of late season blizzards is over but despite that, you often see greenery poking up through the snow. One of the first years in our home, I planted crocuses and they bloomed with the snow still surrounding them. Just a hint of the change of season.
Artist Bio: Yvonne’s art is inspired by Canadian landscapes and by travel and technology. Yvonne currently has artwork touring with Fibre Art Network and Textile & Fibre Artists of Manitoba and has been in the Quilt Canada Show, a SAQA exhibit and two past Grand National Exhibits.
